Eikon is an app for iPhone and iPad that converts, compresses, resizes and cleans image files, in batches, entirely on your device. Not a photo editor: a fast, private tool for the jobs you actually need done.

Convert

HEIC to JPG, PNG to JPEG, anything to HEIC or AVIF. Reads JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, JPEG XL, TIFF, GIF and BMP.

Compress to a size

Set a limit in KB. Eikon lowers the quality first and only shrinks the dimensions if it has to.

Resize

By longest side, percentage, width or height. Keeps the aspect ratio and never upscales.

Remove metadata

Location, camera, date and other hidden data are stripped. JPEG and HEIC are rewritten without recompressing a single pixel.

From any app

Share images to Eikon from Photos, Files or Safari and process them right there in the share sheet.

Shortcuts

Convert, Resize, Compress and Remove Metadata are Shortcuts actions you can chain into your own automations.

Where your files go

Results are shared, saved to Photos, or kept in the Eikon folder in the Files app, so your library does not fill up with duplicates. Nothing is added to Photos unless you choose it.
